I was going to go in debt to all this I reported a
jet ski and a car stolen from my father’s house on
January 30th 2009, My father recently passed away.
I know who took them, It was an ex girlfriend I
stayed with through my father funeral, we had a
dispute she had the keys to the car . She
basically told me she took them. I reported them
stolen to police January 30th 2009. Between the
times it was reported. The report was entered into
the system but lost in the transfer back police,
It went investigated for 6 months until I went to
the secretary of state and checked to see it the
car and jet ski was still in my name, they were
not. I applied for the report and received it 10
days later and found out who was on the title now,
and then I called police end of July 2009. They
had not heard of the report, but they looked it up
and just then started looking into it. By then the
person who bought it was not in the state, I took
the police to that house when I got the paper from
the secretary of state. |
