| Description : |
My 16-year-old daughter has an active IEP for
hearing impairment, and wears bilateral hearing
aids. She lost an aid and we are in the process
of replacing it. Last week, one of her teachers
got frustrated with her and asked her "when she
was getting herself fixed". The teacher claims he
asked her "when is the hearing aid getting fixed",
but my daughter and two student witnesses heard
what he really said. I have spoken with the
teacher and principal who ignored the issue; the
principal saying "we would all just have to agree
to disagree" and ignored the issue. Any thoughts
on what I might do? |
